Terms of Service

1. The service

TryPost by CobiHay is a web based social media content planning and publishing service, operated by Cobi Hay Digital ("we", "us", "the operator"). The service is used by businesses, agency teams and the client accounts they manage, to plan social media content, schedule it, publish it to the social network accounts those clients have connected, and review how it performed.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the service. By signing in you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and authorized use

Self service registration is closed. Accounts are issued by the operator to authorized users: staff of the businesses and agencies we work with, and people acting on behalf of a client account. This is an access control decision, not a limitation on who the service is for: the service is provided to multiple separate organizations and their clients.

• Your sign in details are personal. Do not share them, and tell us at once if you believe someone else has them.
• Use the service only for the workspaces and client accounts you were given access to.
• Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another workspace, another client or another organization.
• Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to publish content you have no right to publish.

3. Authority to connect a social media account

You may connect a social media account to a workspace only if you own that account, or the account owner has authorized you to publish on their behalf. Where the account belongs to a client, that authorization must come from the client and must still be in force at the time you publish.

Connecting an account you are not authorized to operate is a breach of these terms. We may remove the connection and the access it grants without notice. Each workspace is intended to hold the accounts of one client, so that access granted for one client never reaches another.

4. Your content, and who is responsible for it

The content published through TryPost by CobiHay is yours. You keep the rights in it, and you are responsible for it: for holding the rights to every image, video and piece of text you upload, for the accuracy of what it says, and for any disclosure the content requires, including commercial content and branded content disclosure on TikTok.

The operator does not write, review, moderate or approve the content you publish. The service gives you the tools to review it yourself: a post stays a draft until someone schedules it, teammates can comment on it, and the calendar shows what is queued before it goes out. Where you use the AI drafting features, or an automation that publishes on a schedule, the output is still your content and it is your responsibility to review the drafts and the automation configuration before anything is published.

5. Platform rules

Everything you publish through TryPost by CobiHay also has to satisfy the rules of the social network it is published to: its terms of service, its community guidelines, its developer and content policies and its advertising or branded content rules. Where a network requires a specific declaration on a post, you are responsible for setting it correctly in TryPost by CobiHay before publishing.

A social network may reject, remove or restrict a post, may rate limit an account, and may revoke the access that was granted to TryPost by CobiHay. Those are the network’s decisions and we cannot overrule them.

6. Disconnecting and revoking access

You can disconnect any connected social media account from inside TryPost by CobiHay at any time. Disconnecting removes the account and the stored access and refresh tokens for it from our database, and TryPost by CobiHay stops publishing to it. Posts already published stay on the network; removing them there is done on the network itself.

You can also revoke TryPost by CobiHay’s access from the social network’s own account settings, which has the same practical effect. To close a user account or a workspace, write to cobihay@gmail.com.

7. Availability, and what we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, that a scheduled post will always reach the network, or that a network’s API will behave as it did yesterday. Publishing depends on third party systems we do not control, and a post can fail for reasons that begin and end at the network.

We also do not promise any outcome from publishing: no reach, no engagement, no growth, and no approval of any kind by a social network. Approval of an account, an app or a piece of content is decided by that network alone. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close access for a user, a workspace or an organization that breaches these terms, that connects accounts without authorization, or whose use puts the service or another customer at risk.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated, and continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions, requests and notices go to cobihay@gmail.com.
